She gets arrested for stealing $50,000. She is now poor and requests a court appointed lawyer. A lawyer shows up at the jail and it is her college sweetheart. In the background, there are evil people that want the girl and her father dead. Why? Could it be greed? Will good and love triumph? Of course. It is a novel.
